History and Present Situation of Globalization In China
Globalization in china essentially began in the year 1990. In 1992 Deng Xiaoping, the national leader visited the southern part of China, for the first time the idea was brought that China should open up. Therefore it can be said to have laid the basic framework for the Chinese economy in the next 10 or 20 years. Since then a large number of workers have migrated from the rural areas to the urban centres. A significant amount of capital has been invested in the coastal areas of China. The country’s economic growth has implemented high rates in the past 40 years.

China benefits from economic growth and economic development because of globalization. It also increases the international trade and foreign investment of China, which results in significant growth in the economy and development. It increases free trade and communication between nations. It allows us to bring all our sources together. It improves communication. Transfer of technology around the globe is good for us. Through the agreement, any country can borrow the technology for the country’s development. Country’s can communicate with each other from any corner of the world using advanced technology at minimal time, cost and effort. It provides better services through technological advancement. Services like water supply, mobile networking, internet, electric supply and other services are easier and better. Easy access around the world is also the result of globalization. China exports have amounted to only 5.9 per cent of GDP and the foreign investment was over 1.6 billion by 2013 the figure increased to 290 billion.

The low wages of the workers who can understand and use technology has made Chinese goods and services more competitively. China’s accession to the World Trade Organization(WTO) has led to an opening of china to world trade.  In China when people move from developed to developing countries it affects globalization. People would be faced with a low wage income and working conditions. The standard of living would not be the same as the developed countries. It increases inequality around the world by increasing specialization and trade. It also increases the unemployment rate. How the people are getting jobs. It needs higher-skilled work at a low price. Countries, where people are weak, are not capable of doing highly skilled workers.

Therefore the unemployment rate is increasing in those countries. The balance of trade refers to the balance of values between a country’s export and import goods and services. As a result, different countries can trade with any part of the globe. That is why developing countries are dependent on other countries like developed countries in terms of import goods but the capability of exporting goods is much than importing. Therefore the trade balance occurs. The trade imbalance to the imbalance between a country’s import and export goods and services. It is called a trade deficit. Industrialization peace has increased because of globalization. Industrialization has both positive and negative effects. It boosts economic growth but at the same time, it harms the environment as well. Globalization loots from nature and it also harms the environment very badly. The example is given: The worlds leading soft drink company is coca-cola. A huge amount of water is being consumed by this company to make soft drinks. In the northern state of India, in Uttar Pradesh, the government ordered a coca-cola bottle plant was closed because of too much usage of water claimed by local farmers.

Economic globalization has increased the living standards of the Chinese people. But it has also increased the gap between different regions, urban and rural areas. A good job must be done by china to the social welfare system.

As shown above, the advantages and disadvantages of globalization. It is said that the list of benefits of globalization can be easily lengthened. It did not stabilize the global economy. The globalization process did not benefit the poor. This organization only serves the developed world. Especially the internal interests of the company. It is the word used to describe the growing interdependence of the worlds economies, cultures and populations. It was brought by cross-border trade in goods and services, technology and flows of investment, people and information.
