Mass Media is a source or medium which is used to communicate or reach to the large amount of people. Its has its various forms it could be written, spoken or broadcast that helps to reach audience - like as radio, news papers, tv channels, social media apps like instagram, facebook, twitter, etc.
Aims of Mass Media :

Print, Recordings, Cinema, Radio, Television, Internet, Mobiles phones. Further more it can be subdivided into :

PRINT MEDIA
Introduction :
Print Media was the first medium of media to used to communicate information. The India's and Asia's first printed newspaper was published by James Hicky on 29th January, 1780. It was known as "Bengal Gazette" also known as "Original Calcutta General Advertiser". Later it ceased publication, 30th March, 1782. Since then use of newspapers and magazines numbers kept on increasing. Nowadays new newspapers and magazine are published while old ones are changing their pattern of format. A newspaper contains news, information and advertisements, its usually printed on low cost paper and its called newsprint. It maybe general or special interest, most often published daily or weekly.

It involves electronicallly and simultaneously sending informantion in the form images, videos, print message, audio content, etc. to a vast group of recipients who uses television or radio. Television sends content in the form of images, video content and print messages, whereas Radio sends content in the form of audio content. The first electronic television was successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on 7th September, 1927. It was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. For Radio, Italian inventor Gugliemlo Marconi first developed the idea of a radio or wireless telegraph. His idea took shape in 1895 when he sent a wireless Morse Code message to a source more than a kilometer away.
