WILDFIRE
Wildfire is a fire which is unplanned or uncontrolled fire in the forest or grassland or any natural environment is termed as Wildfire. Other name for wildfire is “Wild land Fire”. There are many terms like bush fire ( an uncontrolled fire in the bush area) , forest fire( a fire that spread over the whole forest) , grass fire ( an uncontrolled or unexpected fire in a grassy area) , but they are used to describe a fire specifically or particularly. These types of fire spreads very fast, quick and rapidly destroying anything that comes in between. Climate change has been an important factor in causing the wildfire. Whenever the temperature goes high and there are fast winds, it is the many reason for causing wildfire. It can burn thousand and million acre of land and spread at a rapid speed. There are also many other ways which can lead to Wildfire.
There are two types of Wildfire, i.e. Natural Wildfire and Human- Caused Wildfire.
NATURAL WILDFIRE :
Natural Wildfire are caused and occurred naturally. There are many reasons through which natural wildfire is caused, and one of the main reason is Climate Change. When there is a change in weather condition and the temperature goes high with fast winds, it causes fire, which then leads to causing Wildfire. Other than Climate change, majority of the times wildfire is caused is also by Lightning.

When lightning strikes, it creates enough heat to burn up a tree or any other fuel source. They tend to be slightly higher and the destruction is more, which results in damaging many acres of land. These types of wildfire cannot be prevented majority of the times.
HUMAN – CAUSED WILDFIRE :

As the name suggest, These types of wildfire are mainly caused by humans, either unexpectedly, unintentionally, accidently or even by negligence . There are numerous ways where Human – Caused Wildfire can be started such as open burning, burning and dropping of substance like cigarettes or burning of lighters or matches, campfires which are left unattended where people are cooking or burning dry leaves to heat up their surrounding and feel warm or burning of debris, fireworks, neglected open power lines or anything that can create a spark and cause heat and leads to fire. The most important factor to keep in mind is that, Human – Caused Wildfire can be prevented, whereas Natural Wildfire cannot be prevented.

EFFECTS :
Large and Intense fire are creating possibilities for great smoke production. Which then leads to resulting in air pollution and can affect the quality of air. This air pollution caused by Wildfire can be very dangerous and also deadly and can harm a human body through many ways. Bronchitis, asthma, suffocation, injuries, burns, eye burns, reduced lung function or lung failure are some of the diseases which can be caused through air pollution, which is again caused by Wildfire. Children, elderly people and pregnant women are especially very vulnerable and at risk because of the air pollution caused by Wildfire.
Causing of wildfire has been a drastic and major effect of increasing visits in the hospital for the people who were exposed to smoke caused by Wildfire.
Other than smoke production, an important and major effect of wildfire is Deforestation. Each year fire burns millions of tree and clears out the forest worldwide which then results in deforestation. The fire that spreads out in a particular region, wipes out all the trees and anything that comes in between. Amazon fire is a great example of deforestation caused by wildfire.
Wildfire is resulting to air pollution which is again causing a lot of health issues, resulting in frequent visits to the doctors or hospitals. It is having a crucial and vital impact on our health. Loss of life, homes, trees, animals are very common due to wildfire. A major part is wiped out creating a lot of loss.
Wildfires have been proven hazardous to both nature and human life. The lives of the wildlife, humans are endangered due to the wildfires. The wildlife loose their habitat and are forced to move out of the forests which threatens their existence. The deforestation causes due to the wildfires also a major threat to the environment because of which the temperature increases causing an increase in global warming. As there are no ways to control Natural Wildfire. The only and most common way to control Human – Caused Wildfire is to control burning, burning of small amount and never leaving it unattended can prevent wildfire.
As most of times it is noticed that Human – Caused Wildfires are caused because they are left unattended. Fast detection of wildfire can also be a positive factor in controlling wildfire, as the fire has not spread to a great extent in can be controlled easily. Fire lookouts tower, smoke detectors installed can also be very effective in detection of wildfire.
